certainty in myself

I want to say my husband, my career, but nothing that is out of my own control is certain, so I was really excited to answer this prompt because it will challenge me to think of what is absolutely certain.

  1. God – I am christian, and for me, God is absolutely certain in my life, I know he will always be there and I know that he will always be a part of my life.
  2. My choice – in every situation there is a choice that can be made. Maybe some choices that you wish were available to you are not available, but that does not mean you can’t be creative enough to find another choice.
  3. My heart – Up until now, I have made difficult choices that have led me to try to become a more graceful person to myself and others at this point. The choices you make become habit overtime and that includes the hard choices.
  4. My exploratory mindest – I got so much heat for exploring choices and starting things and quitting. You can say it is my ADHD but I love it and I don’t see what is so bad at quitting things and trying things until you figure out what you like.
  5. My growth – I know that I am a growth mindset kind of person. It does not stop, and honestly I have no choice because I will always question myself and life.

This is starting to get difficult haha.

6. My perspective – I am proud of having a perspective to always question myself and doubt my understand. Although people think this is not a good trait to have, I think its a great trait because you always learn about yourself in a deeper level, and I am not questioning myself because of other people but because I want to thoroughly understand my life.

7. My aura – Because I am so gung ho on who I am and being honest to myself, I do believe that babies and animals have always saw that in me. And I am usually the only one that babies and animals gravitate towards and that is one of the most proudest parts of me that I have created and recieved from God and I don’t want to ever lose that.

8. My peace – The best thing that I ever learned is that peace comes from within yourself and how you respond to certain situations. It is not about solving an external situation, although that would be great, but overall, its about your internal state.

9. My happiness – Same as my peace, my happiness comes from how I view life and it is something that people can’t take away from me.

10. My ability to pick myself back up – failure is inevitable. The people who truly fail are those who do not keep going or choose a different choice because of fear and burn out. Ironically, I felt that this morning, but I want to keep going because that is the common denominator as to why other things didnt work out.

I’m Elle

From being depressed and bed ridden to thriving in life with no example, I monitored and observed my own behavior, and essentially changed my life by tracking my thoughts and behaviors. This is what I learned.
